Find Out Why Austen Kroll Has Ciara Miller Crying
In a Winter House preview, Austen and Ciara break the ice and make amends for their past failed romantic connection.
The ice is melting between Winter House cast members (and exes!) Ciara Miller and Austen Kroll on Season 2.
As viewers will remember, on the debut season of the series, Ciara bonded with the Southern Charm cast member — even though his on-and-off fling, Lindsay Hubbard, was also in the house.
However, things soured between the two as the weather warmed up, and their once-strong connection broke by the time Austen visited the Hamptons during Summer House Season 6 (although there was a hookup in Charleston a few months later).
In a preview clip for the November 3 episode of Winter House, which you can watch above, Ciara tells Austen that she does forgive him for the way he treated her over the summer.
After the dinner portion of the “Saints and Sinners” party concludes, the two decide to chat one-on-one.
“I have a lot of feelings for you,” Ciara tells Austen. “But I still want to have a good time while we’re here. We have the same friends. We’re going to have to be around each other, and I want it to be cordial.”
Austen says he had so much “fun” with Ciara the last time they were in Vermont, but he became a “ticking time bomb” by the time summer rolled around.
Ciara gets emotional as she tells Austen, “You are a good person, and I want people to see that.” She wants him to begin to “nurture” the relationships he has with the “important” people in his life.
The Charm-er acknowledges that he’s looking to make amends while he’s at the ski house. “Coming back to Vermont is really about having another chance,” Austen explains in an interview. “Yes, I came to the Hamptons, I was drunk, I was single. But that’s not the person that I want to be. That’s not the person I need to be to this group of friends of mine.”
Following the emotional heart-to-heart, Ciara fills bestie Paige DeSorbo in on their discussion. As Ciara praises Austen for being “super thoughtful,” “super caring, and sensitive,” the TropHop creator can be seen peeing out of the door onto the deck outside because the bathroom is otherwise occupied.
Austen is hoping to showcase a more mature side while he’s in Vermont, but it seems some things will never change.
