Will Dina Manzo Be Invited to Lauren's Wedding?
"It's a sensitive subject these days," the bride-to-be says.
She's has got the date (2015), the venue (The Brownstone), and the color scheme (all-white). Now it's time for Lauren Manzo to figure out every bride's worst nightmare: the guest list. Complicating things already is the fact that mom Caroline Manzo and her sister Dina haven't spoken in years. So will Lauren's aunt be invited to her big day?
"At the end of the day, we’re still family. It’s a sensitive subject these days, but I’ll always do the right thing. My mom told me to always take the high road and I will." Lauren tells Wetpaint. "So of course I’ll invite my Aunt Dina. I’m not sure if she will come, but she will definitely be invited."
In fact, Lauren goes on to reveal that one of the first people she texted right after her engagement was Dina's daughter, her cousin Lexi. "I love Lexi more than anything and always want to be close to her," she says.
We can't be sure of Dina's RSVP status but she did reveal on an episode of Watch What Happens Live last year that she's sure she and her sister will be back to normal one day and that "if either one of us needed each other, we would be there in a heartbeat." Here's hoping Lauren's big day counts as one of those times.
