Teresa Giudice and Dina Manzo were extremely close throughout their time on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but are Teresa and Dina still friends today?
It's a bit complicated, but Teresa did share some insight into their dynamic during a June appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. The 'Wife, more specifically, revealed that she had recently spoken to Dina. As she put it, "I texted her, and she hearted it."
In July, Teresa once again discussed the state of her friendship with her former castmate when she was asked about the fact that Dina didn't attend her wedding to Luis “Louie” Ruelas in August 2022. Put simply, "[Dina] just doesn’t feel comfortable coming back to Jersey," Teresa said on the Reality With The King podcast. "She just wants to keep her distance. She doesn’t want people to know when she comes to Jersey."
Teresa admitted that she was initially "upset" over Dina's absence, but now, she "totally respect[s]" and "understand[s]" her decision.
From there, Teresa also noted that she and Dina still stay in touch over text — and they're not the only ones. On the contrary, Dina also keeps up with Teresa's daughter, Audriana Giudice, aka her goddaughter.
Gia Giudice shared a similar sentiment back in 2023 after she was asked which of the RHONJ ladies have been her "favorites" over the years. In addition to listing Dolores Catania, Jennifer Aydin, and Jacqueline Laurita, Gia also named her "Aunt Dina."
"We always communicate on social media," Gia said of Dina. "She always comments on my posts [and] we always wish each other happy birthday, happy holidays."
Finally, Dina herself has previously shut down speculation that she and Teresa had a falling out. During a Nov. 2022 Instagram Q&A, a fan asked if she and Teresa were “friends again," and Dina wrote, "We were never not friends. Sometimes friendships go [through phases], but in the end true friendships will always find their way back when the time is right.”
What is Dina Manzo up to today?
ICYMI, Dina no longer resides in New Jersey. She and her husband, David "Dave" Cantin, moved to California several years ago, and they now split their time between Montecito and Florida.
The couple just celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary at the end of June. Shortly after that, Dina spent some time overseas for a girls' trip in Provence, France with her only child, Lexi Ioannou, who is now 28.
