Kylie Jenner Missed the 2019 Emmy Awards and Now We Know Why (UPDATED)
Her equally-famous sisters, Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, did manage to show up to present at the Emmys.
UPDATE (Sept. 25, 12:16 p.m.): Days after she missed the 2019 Emmys due to illness, TMZ is reporting that Kylie Jenner was hospitalized this week with "severe flu-like symptoms," including nausea and dizziness, according to a source. Kris Jenner is currently on vacation in Paris, so Caitlyn Jenner has been on hand to check in on their daughter while she is in the L.A.-area hospital. The source notes that she is "getting top-notch treatment," but additional info on her condition was unknown as of press time.
The original story continues below.
When it came time for members of the Kardashian-Jenner family to take the stage to present at the 2019 Emmy Awards, only Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner actually made it to the event. As it turns out, Kylie Jenner was also slated to present along with her equally-fab sisters, but sources tell ET and PEOPLE she couldn't make it to the show because she was too sick for showtime.
Therefore Kim and Kendall were left to handle the duties all on their own, and, well, they looked pretty great doing it. "So lucky to have my sister by my side," Kim later wrote on Instagram Stories.
We guess there's always next year, Kylie. But, as you can see, your sisters have really set the bar high.
