At a recent WWHL FYC panelAndy Cohen and actress Molly Shannon discussed the magic behind producing WWHL. The talk show host even surprised Molly with a few special guests along the way. “I just want to say on a personal note Watch What Happens Live, is the freshest show. You deserve everything…” Molly told Andy, who was full of gratitude and replied, “Thank you.”

The father of two continued to express his admiration for Molly being a Bravo fan before sharing that they often discuss the drama on The Real Housewives of Orange County. “Like, I just love talking to you about OC and everything,” he shared, adding, “And you know one of our trademarks of Watch What Happens Live is that we love to surprise our guests.”

Of course, in Andy fashion he delivered on the shock value by surprising Molly with a few cast members of RHOC, including Shannon Storms BeadorHeather DubrowTamra JudgeGina Kirschenheiter, and Emily Simpson.

As for Molly’s reaction? She yelled: “Are you kidding me? No, this is incredible.”

For 15 years, WWHL has been serving up wild, headline-making reveals and plenty of juicy moments, and it seems that the Television Academy can’t get enough of it. The Bravo interactive talk show is on the ballot to possibly receive an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Talk Series.

TV Academy members have until June 24 to vote for their favorite talk shows, aiming for a nomination for the prestigious award. The official nominees for the Outstanding Talk Series category will be announced in mid-July.

Previously, it was confirmed that WWHL has been renewed through 2025. Airing Sunday through Thursday nights on Bravo, all episodes are also available to stream next day on Peacock.
