When The Real Housewives of Potomac returns for Season 9 on Sunday, Oct. 6, viewers will be getting reacquainted with Jacqueline Blake.
Jacqueline first appeared on RHOP back on Season 7. Though she was introduced to the group as the childhood best friend of Mia Thornton, their friendship hit some major bumps — and the ladies were not on speaking terms by the time the Season 7 reunion aired.
However, when Season 8 aired back in 2023, Mia confirmed that she had reconciled with Jacqueline amid her own divorce from Gordon Thornton. Now, Jacqueline is back in the Season 9 fold as an official friend of the ladies.
What is Jacqueline Blake's job?
According to her Instagram bio, Jacqueline is a Washington D.C. metro area-based entrepreneur behind Ava & Blakely HR consulting. Her company, which she founded in 2019, specializes in "policy development, recruiting [and] talent acquisition, strategy alignment, and employee relations."
According to a post on her company's Instagram page, Jacqueline previously "worked at various Fortune 500 companies" before getting a job in Human Resources at the U.S. Department of Defense.
She used her skills from that role to help start her company, where "she acts as a business partner to help small black and minority owned government contracting companies build their HR structure and strategy from the ground up."
Where did Jacqueline Blake go to college?
The RHOP Season 9 friend graduated from Clark University in Atlanta, Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.

Jacqueline and Mia were not on speaking terms when RHOP Season 8 filmed, but things changed in their relationship after Mia announced her separation from Gordon.
While appearing on an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in December 2023, Mia confirmed that the two were close again.
"It's funny because Jacqueline and I talk all the time now," Mia said. "She's helped tremendously with the kids. We are [back]."
It also helped that Jacqueline was close with Mia's then-new boyfriend, Incognito aka Inc. "She's also the best friend of my new boo," the mom of three said on WWHL.
