Who Is Anthony Lopez? Meet Dr. Nicole Martin's Longtime Love on RHOM
The Miami power couple have been together since 2015.
As Dr. Nicole Martin states in her The Real Housewives of Miami Season 5 tagline, she's a pro at the rules of engagement. Her fiancé, Anthony Lopez, is no amateur either.
When the couple first came on the RHOM scene in Season 4, they already had years of bonding behind them and were adamant about not needing to get married. But they changed their tune and announced their engagement in January 2022.
"It was never about being pro- or anti-marriage. It was really about just being happy no matter what," Nicole said during the Season 4 reunion in March 2022. "I was happy before he asked. We had a great relationship before he asked. And I'm happy and we have a great relationship after he asked. And if he would have never asked? I would have still stayed with him and been happy."

A Miami native, Anthony is an attorney with a passion for his family, jet piloting, and basketball, according to his consistently updated Instagram account.

"I would consider Anthony and myself a power couple," Nicole said during Episode 1 of Season 4. "He's a very successful attorney, and Anthony likes his toys."

Anthony and Nicole have been dating since 2015 and got engaged on New Year's Eve 2021 while on vacation in Aspen.
"You hear people say 'Find someone that makes you happy,' and I always laugh to myself and wonder why? You lose all your power when you rely on someone else for your happiness," Nicole told People in January 2022 while announcing their engagement "First and foremost, you have to be happy with yourself, and once you have that, then you should find someone that adds positively to your life."
"Anthony has always respected me as an individual. He's never tried to change me. He has been incredibly supportive of me and my career. He pushes me to grow and be better," she added. "We have grown together over the years and I've loved every moment of it. Plus all the other obvious points — he's funny, he's witty, and he's handsome."
Since they joined RHOM, fans have watched the lovebirds enjoy their lavish lifestyle by each other's side. Remember Season 5, Episode 5, when Anthony not only lent the 'Wives his private plane for a girls trip to the Florida Keys, but piloted them himself?
"He did that," one of the ladies said after their 15-minute flight landed safely.
In September 2022, Dr. Nicole shared an Instagram post in honor of her soon-to-be-husband's birthday (the couple are both Virgos).
"Looking through our pictures, it was hard to pick one. We’ve made so many great memories over the years and the pictures are endless. This one about sums it up ! I’ve loved watching you evolve over the years. I’m so proud of you and all you’ve accomplished," she wrote. "Thank you for making me smile, for being such a wonderful father and an amazing partner! Cheers to you baby and to many more birthday celebrations together."
The following year, she echoed her sentiments.
"No one else I’d rather share my birthday month with!" she wrote in a September 2023 post, adding a heart emoji. "Cheers to a lifetime of health, love and happiness."
How did Anthony Lopez and Dr. Nicole Martin meet?
According to the aforementioned People interview, the pair met while on separate 2015 vacations in Las Vegas.
"We were walking through the lobby of the Wynn hotel when we ran into some friends from Miami. Anthony, luckily, was part of that group," Nicole shared. "A few days after returning to Miami, he found my number and reached out. To be honest, I wasn't interested at first, but after some persistence, I said yes to a date. And after date No. 1, I was hooked."
During Season 4 Episode 2 of RHOM, Nicole reflected on meeting Anthony.
"I didn't really like him at first. I thought he was this very typical, flashy attorney trying to attract a young girl with his wealth," she shared. "But once I got to know him and realized there were so many more layers to him... he has this amazing, soft, caring side of him that not a lot of people get to see."

The couple's son, Greyson, was born in February 2019.
"Having a son was a true game changer. Love you buddy!" Anthony wrote via Instagram in November 2019 alongside a cute snapshot of him and his "little guy."
During Season 4, Larsa Pippen called out the couple for having a child out of "wedlock."
"It's 2022 and people become parents in so many unique ways," Nicole said during the Season 4 reunion in March 2022. "For you to make a comment like that, which really impacted [multiple people], was in poor taste."
What does Anthony Lopez do for work?
Anthony is an attorney who specializes in insurance law. Known throughout Florida as "Your Insurance Attorney" (with a logo that shows off his signature beard), he says that he helps policy holders "get what they’re entitled to," according to his LinkedIn.
While sharing her career journey with BravoTV.com in May 2023, Nicole discussed her and Anthony's respective jobs — and how they hope to inspire their son in the future.
“We’re very fortunate to be blessed financially [to where] I don’t need to work, but I come to work because I enjoy what I do. I love taking care of patients. I love helping people who are in pain. And I want [Greyson] to find something that he’s passionate about, that he enjoys doing," she said. "So I hope that by Anthony and I continuing to work, because it’s things we enjoy, that he sees how passionate we are about our careers and that he’s motivated to find whatever it is that he’s passionate about.”
