Ashley Darby Shares a Surprising Update on Her Friendship with Chris Bassett
The Real Housewives of Potomac's Ashley Darby revealed why she feels "a little bad" about her past drama with Candiace Dillard Bassett's husband.
In the years since Candiace Dillard Bassett joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Potomac, she's shared a hot and cold friendship with Ashley Darby.
The ladies' friendship was really put to the test during Season 7, when Ashley expressed some concerns about a DM exchange she had shared with Candiace's husband, Chris Bassett. Ashley and Candiace didn't end the season on good terms, and the castmates still aren't in a great place on RHOP Season 8.
However, when she appeared on the February 4 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Ashley shared a surprising update on her friendship with Chris today. Plus, Candiace also revealed what she appreciates about Ashley when she appeared on WWHL herself a few weeks earlier.

After Ashley and Chris had a disagreement on the Season 7 finale, they saw each other in-person at Eddie Osefo's Happy Eddie event on Season 8, Episode 12 (which aired on February 4).
WWHL host Andy Cohen asked Ashley what it was like to hang out in the "same space" as the chef following the difficulties they had the year before.
"You know, it was a little sensitive, but now, looking back, I feel a little bad for how harsh I was..." Ashley said about their conversation at Candiace's music video release party. "I felt a little bad for how I approached that."
She then revealed where her relationship with Chris currently stands.
"Chris and I are on good terms," she added before reiterating that she did feel "a little bad."
"We're not, like BFFs," she clarified.

Ashley's relationship with Candiace has also improved as of late. On the January 21 episode of WWHL, Andy asked Candiace who she believes is her "biggest shade rival" on RHOP.
"Who could hang with me? Probably Ashley Darby," Candiace responded in jest. "I enjoy sparring with her, though. It's fun."
