Marlo Hampton Shares Updates on Where She Stands with Kim Zolciak and Kandi Burruss Today
The Le'Archive curator revealed whether she’s been in touch with RHOA alum Kim following her divorce news.
Marlo Hampton is revealing where she stands with a few ladies from The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
After beefing on Season 14 about a charity donation and what it means to be a good friend, Marlo’s drama with Kandi Burruss is continuing on Season 15 — and she shared why she’s not on the same page with the Grammy winner on Episode 3.
“I feel Kandi still hasn’t forgiven me since the reunion, and I’m OK with that,” Marlo explained in an interview on the episode. “Because I know with Kandi, it takes time.”
“I’m just keeping my distance,” Kandi added about her feelings toward Marlo.
Once the episode aired, Marlo appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and shared more thoughts on her lack of a friendship with Kandi. What’s more, she explained why she became upset with Kandi following Drew Sidora’s performance with Candiace Dillard Bassett. “It just triggered me,” Marlo said.
During a game of “Spill the Kand-Tea,” which you can check out by watching the video below, Marlo also revealed whether she thinks Kandi defends her husband, Todd Tucker, enough when it comes to Mama Joyce, and why she thinks the other ladies are sometimes “scared” to bring things up around the Xscape songstress.
She also threw some shade at Kandi’s style, saying the restaurateur “can definitely use” some assistance from Marlo’s designer clothing showroom, Le'Archive.
After Marlo revealed how she really feels about frenemy Kandi today, she sounded off on another major recent headline from Atlanta: the news that RHOA alum Kim Zolciak and retired NFL player Kroy Biermann were divorcing.
It turns out that while Marlo and Kim were both friends of the ladies on Season 10, they haven’t stayed in touch much over the years.
“No, I have not reached out to her,” Marlo said on WWHL about whether she contacted Kim once her divorce news became public. “The last time I saw her was in the airport. Every time we see each other, it’s nothing but love.”
Like WWHL host Andy Cohen, who said he was “very surprised” to hear about Kim’s breakup, Marlo said she was taken aback by the split.
“I am sorry to hear. I mean it’s awful to hear the news of them getting a divorce,” she added, noting that “a whole bunch of prayers” were needed. “I was super surprised.”
