Wait, did Barbara "Barbie" Pascual just reveal that she's still "legally married"?
Since the Below Deck Season 11 premiere, fans have been getting to know the ins and outs of the St. David crew's lives professionally and personally.
More specifically, Barbie has been one of the most forthcoming about her background, sharing details about her upbringing in Argentina, opening up about her bond with her father, and confessing her love for luxury items.

Barbie Pascual discusses her marriage with her ex-husband
As you can see in the video above, Barbie finds herself in a fun night out with the other ladies of the yachting crew, where they begin to dive into their love lives. She starts their candid conversation by asking how many times they've been in love.
“Three times,” stew Xandi Olivier says, before mentioning that she didn't “remember meeting” her ex-husband. The remark instantly resonates with Barbie as she concurs, “Same with my ex-husband.”
Barbie’s shocking admission of being hitched takes stew Cat Baugh and deckhand Sunny Marquis by surprise. “Barbie, you were married?” they conjointly quipped.
“I got married at 22, I think it was, and then Covid hit, and we had to be around each other,” Barbie tells her co-workers. “The sex was minimal [and] the love part of it was minimal.”
The brunette beauty further explains in a confessional why she eloped at a young age, saying, “I got married because I believed that he was the one."
She adds: “It was like a year relationship, and I felt like he understood me… I settled.”

Although the couple's marriage didn’t work out, Barbie is still friendly with her ex. “He’s my best friend, and I hang out with my ex-husband way more now,” she explains in the clip.
However, that wasn't the shocker of their discussion. Barbie later confessed that she and her ex-husband never filed for divorce and are still “legally married.”
So why did Barbie and her former partner never file to end their marriage? As she puts it: “We just don’t even feel like going through the paperwork.”
