Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney's long-awaited sandwich shop, Something About Her, is finally set to open!
After years of permit issues, staffing changes, and menu tastings, the Vanderpump Rules business partners shared a very "special announcement" about their eatery on the April 30 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
When is Something About Her opening?
During the WWHL episode, Katie shared, "Everyone's been asking, they want sandwich shop updates. We finally have the update." When Andy asked for the official opening date, Katie and Ariana said in unison: "May 22."

Does Ann Maddox still work at Something About Her?
As viewers saw on Vanderpump Rules Season 11, Episode 14, which aired on April 30, Ariana and Katie hired Tom Sandoval's former assistant Ann Maddox to work at Something About Her.
On April 26, Ann told The Daily Dish via email, "I am very excited about my new job at Something About Her. Ariana and Katie are the best bosses a girl can ask for! [I] can’t wait to 'break bread' with all the lovely fans of VPR at the sandwich shop. See you soon!"
Andy wanted an update on Ann's employment status during the WWHL episode, asking, "We got some viewer questions wanting to know how Ann wound up becoming a Something About Her employee, and is she still working for the two of you?"
Ariana shared, "We actually just got a message from her the other day," and noted, "She's had another temporary job."
Does Penny Davidi still work at Something About Her?
Viewers have gotten to know Something About Her's chef/consultant Penny Davidi as Ariana and Katie have worked to open the sandwich shop. However, things took a turn on Season 11, Episode 14, as Katie explained, "We originally brought Penny on to be our COO and head of back of house...But we are having a little trouble seeing eye-to-eye on what her role will be in our business."
On an April 19 appearance on the Popping Off with Teddi Mellencamp and Emily Simpson podcast, Katie confirmed, "We're not working with Penny any longer."
In the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 After Show video above, Brock Davies revealed a shocking detail about Ariana and Katie's drama with Penny.
"I looked at the trademark, and the trademark is owned by Penny, the lady they hired," Brock says in the clip. "The trademark is owned by her husband, ladies and gentlemen — which means the sandwich brand is owned by Penny and her husband, who is an attorney, a litigator."
Brock adds, "I know for a fact that they're having issues trying to get a contract with this woman."
