Marcus Jordan Makes a Surprising Confession About Larsa Pippen and Michael Jordan
The Real Housewives of Miami cast member's boyfriend opened up about the role his father would play in his potential wedding with Larsa.
Larsa Pippen and her beau, Marcus Jordan, are getting serious. In fact, both The Real Housewives of Miami cast member and her boyfriend of a year (and friend for much longer than that) have said that they plan to get married someday. But —curious minds want to know — what would it would be like for Larsa to have Michael Jordan as her father-in-law?
For a bit of backstory, Larsa was previously married to Scottie Pippen, who was once Michael Jordan's teammate with the Chicago Bulls (they also have experienced their own fair share of drama). Michael is, of course, Marcus' dad. For anyone left wondering if there's any awkwardness between the NBA great and his potential daughter-in-law, we have an update.

When he recently appeared on the Pablo Torres Finds Out podcast, Marcus revealed that he plans to have his legendary pop as his best man if he and Larsa do tie the knot. "I was the best man at his wedding, and the best man at my brother’s wedding, so obviously, we’ll keep the tradition going, is my thoughts on it," Marcus said.

Well, not yet but stay tuned! He also shared some more thoughts on the wedding. "It's in the works, is my go-to saying right now," Marcus said. "I don't think we have, like, a date — we're still talking about locations and party size and all stuff. So it's not really concrete yet, but it'll happen."
Larsa Pippen discusses her relationship with Michael Jordan
On a Season 6 episode of The Real Housewives of Miami, Larsa confessed: "Our relationship is probably awkward for [Marcus'] dad and my ex because they had a relationship. But it’s not awkward for Marcus and I. He makes me happy, and I make him happy, and that’s just what it is.”
Larsa also shared that both her and Marcus’ parents were initially put off by the idea of their relationship. However, for Thanksgiving 2022, Larsa brought Marcus to her parents’ house, and Marcus took Larsa to meet his mother.
“Even though I was nervous, they were so nice and welcoming that it put everything into perspective,” said Larsa. RHOM producers asked whether Larsa had seen Marcus’ father. “I’m not going to talk about him,” Larsa told RHOM producers with a smile. “Like, I just don’t want to talk about him, you know? I don’t need to.”

For background, the NBA superstar had once told reporters that he wasn’t on board with his son dating Larsa. According to TMZ, when asked if he approved of the relationship, he replied with a simple “No” and shook his head. Though Marcus later told PEOPLE that his dad had just been kidding around, Larsa admitted that she was “embarrassed” and “traumatized” by the comment on her podcast, Separation Anxiety with Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan.
