Larsa Pippen Gets Candid About Marcus Jordan’s Family’s Thoughts on Their Relationship
Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan admitted their romance was "probably awkward" for NBA legends Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan.
The Real Housewives of Miami’s Larsa Pippen and beau Marcus Jordan are giving fans some juicy details about their high-profile romance.
In RHOM Season 6, Episode 5, the new it couple took viewers behind the scenes of their new IHeart Radio podcast, Separation Anxiety with Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan. For their very first episode, which premiered in June 2023, Larsa and Marcus wanted to set the record straight about their relationship, which continues to raise eyebrows both inside and outside the Bravoverse.
“This is the new chapter for me because I’ve never gone into business with a boyfriend,” the mother of four told RHOM producers. “But I’m not feeling any type of anxiety about going into business with Marcus because we get along so well.”
About Larsa and Marcus' Separation Anxiety podcast
The Separation Anxiety podcast promises to be “brutally honest” with listeners about life, love, and sex.
“What is life really like at the home with the Pippen/Jordans?” the podcast bio asks. “They won’t hold back about all the juicy things happening, even when it’s about them, their friends, and even their haters.”
Larsa continues to push the portmanteau “Larcus” across the airwaves as they discuss Larsa’s OnlyFans page, joint bank accounts, and “the viral clip of Michael Jordan suggesting he doesn’t approve of their relationship,” according to the podcast episode descriptions.
Other topics include the ongoing divorce between Lisa Hochstein and Lenny Hochstein and rumors about Larsa and Marcus being engaged.
Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan discuss their relationship
“There’s a lot of chatter about our relationship, and so this podcast gives us a platform to kinda put things into our own voice and our own perspective,” Marcus said, as seen in the recent RHOM episode.

One reason Larcus continues to raise eyebrows has to do with Larsa’s 20-plus-year marriage to Scottie Pippen, with whom Larsa shares four children.
Scottie had known Marcus’ father, superstar athlete Michael Jordan, since both were drafted into the NBA in the 1980s and played for the Chicago Bulls. The two dominated the pro basketball scene throughout the 1990s.
“Our relationship is probably awkward for his dad and my ex because they had a relationship,” said Larsa. “But it’s not awkward for Marcus and I. He makes me happy, and I make him happy, and that’s just what it is.”
The couple also digs deep into their 16-year age gap, addressing rumors that Larsa once babysat her now-32-year-old boyfriend or had known him when he was very young.
As previously discussed on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Larsa put the rumors to bed, stating, “I just met him a few years ago.”
What Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan's families think of their relationship
On RHOM, Marcus wanted to talk about how long they’d been dating before deciding to reveal their relationship to loved ones but, according to Larsa, the media picked up the story within the first two weeks of them hanging out platonically.

“I feel like we were getting smoke when we were just friends,” explained Larsa.
Marcus said he received texts from his mother and relatives inquiring about the rumors.
“I think there was a lot of interest and intrigue, even in us hanging out early on,” Marcus said. “It caught some people on my side of the family off guard a little bit.”
Larsa admitted that both her and Marcus’ parents were initially against the idea of seeing them together. However, for Thanksgiving 2022, Larsa brought Marcus to her parents’ house, and Marcus took Larsa to meet his mother.
“Even though I was nervous, they were so nice and welcoming that it put everything into perspective,” said Larsa.
RHOM producers asked one of fans’ most burning questions: Did Larsa see Marcus’ father, Michael Jordan?
For background, the internet came alive when the basketball legend told reporters in Paris, France that he wasn’t on board with his son dating Larsa, according to TMZ. When asked if he approved of the relationship, he replied with a simple “No” and shook his head when asked a second time.
Larsa later took to the Separation Anxiety podcast and said she was “embarrassed” and “traumatized” by Michael’s words, though Marcus passed it off as his father being playful, per PEOPLE.
“I’m not going to talk about him,” Larsa told RHOM producers with a smile. “Like, I just don’t want to talk about him, you know? I don’t need to.”
Catch up on Larcus in all-new episodes of The Real Housewives of Miami, airing Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo and streaming the next day on Peacock.
