Tom Schwartz Reveals Where He Stands with Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney

Tom Schwartz's relationships look a lot different than they did a year ago, and we're not just talking about the one with his ex-wife, Katie Maloney.
The former Vanderpump Rules couple has indeed experienced their fair share of ups and downs as they navigate being separated for the first time in over a decade, but as Tom explained during Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on April 5, he's also in a difficult spot when it comes to both Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval.
The two split last month because of Sandoval's alleged infidelity, and it turns out that Schwartz, unbeknownst to Ariana, Katie, or anyone else for that matter, was apparently aware of said infidelity.
Naturally, the revelation has complicated things for him. As for his friendship with Ariana, Schwartz told Andy Cohen on WWHL, "I think, right now, she's completely indifferent to me."
Andy's response? Confusion, as he just hosted the Vanderpump Rules Season 10 reunion, where Ariana no doubt made it clear that she's not exactly thrilled with Schwartz at the moment. As Andy put it, "Indifferent may be generous, based on what I saw."
Regardless, Schwartz said he "still love[s]" Ariana. "I'm here if she ever needs me," he added, "and I'll respectfully reach out sporadically."
When it comes to Katie — who recently joked that she would light her ex "on fire" if he was aware of Sandoval's affair — Schwartz said he believes they're "good."
"I don't," Andy responded, prompting a laugh from Schwartz, who went on to explain, "I know deep down she likes me. Not like we wanna get back together — that's done — but I love Katie. She's freaking amazing. I want to re-establish our friendship. I miss hanging out with her."
Katie, for her part, said as recently as last month that she and Schwartz had put their friendship "on hold."
"We're not kiki-ing," she added, noting that they're still in communication, but "just about" their two dogs, Butter and Gordo VonFriendenheimer, who they agreed to “split custody” of following their March 2022 split. Back then, fans may recall that Katie and Schwartz were determined to remain friends. However, Tom went against their previous agreement that they wouldn't get involved with anyone in their shared friend group when, this past August, he made out with Raquel Leviss at Scheana Shay's wedding.
