Tom Schwartz Addresses His “Unhinged Interviews”
The Vanderpump Rules cast member made the acknowledgment after Andy Cohen called him out for his “word salad” on WWHL.
Dog dad Tom Schwartz showed some love to his “favorite creatures on planet Earth” by sharing pics from a recent photo shoot that involved his paws-itively precious pups, Butter and Gordo VonFriendenheimer, to Instagram on April 22.
The Vanderpump Rules cast member is all smiles in the snapshots as he cuddles the two dogs he shares custody of with his ex-wife, Katie Maloney. And while many of the comments on the post gushed over the photos’ adorable nature, others questioned if Tom had a different reason for sharing them. As one person wrote, “I see we suddenly hired a PR team.”
Tom’s response? “[Y]ou can tell from my unhinged interviews I don’t have a PR team.”
The joke comes after his recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where he dropped several bombshells about Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix’s breakup, as well as Sandoval’s alleged infidelity. At one point, Andy Cohen even called out Schwartz for his “word salad” and promised to give him interview tips afterward.
Andy wasn’t the only one to comment on Schwartz’s various admissions, though. Lala Kent made a WWHL appearance of her own earlier this month, and while weighing in on the Sandoval and Raquel Leviss drama, she said she took issue with Schwartz’s claim about their relationship being an “open secret.”
More specifically, Schwartz shared that Sandoval came to him in January and admitted he was “in love” with Raquel. “I was flabbergasted,” Schwartz said, describing Sandoval as “obsessed” with their affair. “He got lost in the sauce.”
Schwartz alleged that Tom and Raquel’s relationship became an “open secret” at that point. Lala, however, did not agree. “I was really grossed out by that,” she said on WWHL. “I feel like if I would have been Schwartz, I would have said, ‘If you don’t tell [Ariana], I’m going to tell her. Everybody in the group was shocked.”
Scheana Shay shared a similar sentiment. She recently revealed that she was so taken aback by Sandoval and Raquel’s relationship that when rumors started swirling about Raquel potentially hooking up with her husband, Brock Davies, Scheana “absolutely did question him.”
“After all of the Tom and Raquel stuff — which I didn’t think was true — I obviously had to ask,” Scheana said, noting that today she “[doesn’t] think there’s any truth” to the gossip about Brock and Raquel.
“He said he never put that energy off,” Scheana added, “and we know Sandoval did.”
