Raquel Leviss and Scheana Shay Reveal Their Regrets Over the Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney Drama

The drama over Tom Schwartz and Raquel Leviss' make-out — as well as the role Scheana Shay may have played in it — is far from over, but the fallout is already apparent. So, looking back, do they have any regrets? 

For Raquel and Scheana, the answer is yes — especially when it comes to how Katie Maloney was affected. The Vanderpump Rules castmates revealed as much during Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Wednesday, March 1, with Scheana first and foremost confirming that she did indeed regret "planting the seed in Raquel's mind that she and Schwartz would be good together," as Andy put it. 

However, like Scheana's said in the past, the only reason she did that was because Katie allegedly suggested the idea in the first place. "I would've done things a little differently had I known Katie didn't actually mean what she told me verbatim," Scheana added, later doubling down on the assertion when a viewer asked the following question about her husband, Brock Davies: "If the roles were reversed and you and Brock got a divorce, how would you feel if Katie were pushing him to hook up with someone in the friend group?"

"Looking at that from that perspective, of course I would not be okay with it," Scheana responded. "However, Katie is the one who put this idea in my head which I then transferred into Raquel's head so I stand by that."

She continued, "We literally had a conversation [that] they would be a good match. She was okay with it and wanted Schwartz to move on so I helped facilitate that. I thought I was doing Katie a favor, to be honest."

Katie, for her part, has recently pushed back on this. "I had 17 drinks before this ‘conversation,'" she wrote on Instagram in February. "I was making light of rumors and being like sure ya girl whatever… talk to me when [I’m] sober. But I guess she got what she wanted."

As for Raquel, Andy asked on WWHL if she regretted telling Katie to her face that she wanted to make out with Tom but that it wasn't "a big deal." Responded Raquel, "Yeah, I probably regret saying that." 

She also admitted to feeling "really bad" once Katie got emotional upon hearing her confession. "I was terrified to tell her too," Raquel said, "but she was gonna find out sooner or later."

When it comes to the actual make-out itself, Raquel is less remorseful. As she put it, "If I had to choose [between] making out with Schwartz or pursuing a friendship with Katie, then I'm gonna pursue making out with Schwartz."

What's more, she doesn't feel "guilty" for making the Instagram posts that have previously garnered Katie's attention, including the one that showed her wearing Tom Tom merch. "I'm just trying to live my life and I'm sorry if that offends people," Raquel concluded, "but it's not going to stop me from doing what I want to do."
