Lala Kent Weighs In on Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss’ Relationship
The Vanderpump Rules cast member also shut down Tom Schwartz’s claim that the relationship was an “open secret.”
Lala Kent has a tendency to speak her mind, and that’s exactly what she did when asked if she “genuinely believe[s]” that Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss “are or were ever in love” during Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on April 12.
“I think Raquel may be in love with him,” Lala said. “I don’t think he is in love with her because I think he’s incapable of that type of emotion.”
The response comes just days after Sandoval shared that he and Raquel are “not putting any label” on their relationship at the moment. “We’re also just kind of taking a break,” he added.
Tom Schwartz provided additional insight into the pairing during a recent WWHL appearance of his own, including that Sandoval came to him in January and admitted he was “in love” with Raquel.
“I was flabbergasted,” Schwartz said, describing Sandoval as “obsessed” with their affair. “He got lost in the sauce.”
As a result, Schwartz alleged that Tom and Raquel’s relationship became an “open secret” at that point. Lala, however, does not agree.
“I was really grossed out by that,” she said on WWHL. “I feel like if I would have been Schwartz, I would have said, ‘If you don’t tell [Ariana], I’m going to tell her. Everybody in the group was shocked.”
“I mean, even though I suspected it, when it [was] confirmed, it just felt different,” Lala added.
Andy explained that Vanderpump Rules fans may start to have suspicions of their own as Season 10 continues because “clues start appearing.” As he put it, “I don’t want to give anything away, but it’s amazing how the power of everyone saying ‘No, this isn’t a thing’ can lead everyone to say ‘OK, it’s not a thing.’”
Responded Lala, “I also think when you’re very close in it, you don’t see. And just with my own situation, I’ve learned to trust people who are on the fringe. They see things much more clearly than people who are in it.”
Later, Andy and Lala continued to tease the rest of Vanderpump Rules Season 10 — including the season finale. Talking to fans about a conversation that apparently takes place between Ariana and Raquel, Lala said, “You’re going to die.”
