Here's Why Katie Maloney's Mom, Teri, Told Tom Schwartz He "Blew It"

Tom Schwartz may be divorced from Katie Maloney, but he's not happy to be separated from her family — especially her mom, Teri Maloney.
On Vanderpump Rules Episode 14, which aired May 10, Schwartz reunited with his former mother-in-law as the cast got together to celebrate the unveiling of Katie and Ariana Madix's Something About Her sandwich shop location.
The two reminisced about the last time they saw each other on Mother's Day and "had a good cry" together.
"I miss you, Teri," Schwartz said. "We had so much fun the last time we hung out."
Teri agreed that it was a "fun" and "special" day, and that led to Schwartz admitting that it's been challenging to not be spending time with his ex's family. "Just as hard as it was to break up with Katie, just to know that I'm not going to be spending holidays with you," he said.
Though Teri told her ex son-in-law that he's always "going to be family" and that he'll always "mean a lot," she had some sharp words for him regarding his make out with Raquel Leviss at Scheana Shay's wedding.
"You know what? You blew it..." Teri said. "Of course you're going to date other people, but you [and Katie] had a mutual agreement: nobody in the friend group."
While Schwartz acknowledged that Teri had a "good point of view," he said he "wasn't thinking about the tentative verbal agreement" he made with Katie because he was a "mess" at the time.
"I just want you to understand that it was kind of a real slap in the face," Teri said while getting emotional. "That is so hurtful to any woman."
Teri wasn't the only one who was upset about the kiss in question. After Schwartz's chat with Teri, the TomTom part owner tried to have a one-on-one conversation with his ex-wife in the SUR alleyway. The discussion was interrupted by Raquel, who came outside in an attempt to try to make amends with Katie.
