Ariana, Katie, and Scheana Take Over the DJ Booth During Epic Night on the Town
The Vanderpump Rules castmates treated the crowd to a number of angsty yet catchy throwback hits.
It’s no secret that Ariana Madix has a lot on her plate. In addition to the major changes in her personal life, the multi-hyphenate is juggling multiple projects across the realms of entertainment, retail, and the food service industry. And although her schedule has become increasingly busy, the Vanderpump Rules cast member clearly understands the importance of a work-life balance.
She demonstrated this Friday night (April 7) when she shared videos of her epic get-together with castmates Katie Maloney and Scheana Shay. The trio appeared to kick off their evening with some margaritas and some plant-based Mexican food at Los Angeles’ Sugar Taco. After getting some grub and snapping a few mirror selfies, the friends made their way to the historic Avalon Hollywood venue, where they took over the DJ booth.
Ariana, Katie, and Scheana posted photos and videos of the fun outing, which happened to fall on Avalon’s “Emo Nite.” The clips showed the Bravolebrities dancing on the stage while rocking matching black hoodies that read: "Every Nite Is VPR Nite."
"Watch out James Kennedy, there’s a new DJ in town," Scheana later joked.
Their set included catchy yet angsty throwback hits, like Paramore’s “That’s What You Get,” The All-American Rejects’ “Gives You Hell,” Dashboard Confessional’s “Hand’s Down,” and Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone.”
Katie shared the full playlist on her Instagram Stories.
“Life as a DJ is, like, really great,” she jokingly said in another post. “And my ego is totally inflamed now.”
Scheana and Katie have shown unwavering support for Ariana following her highly publicized breakup last month. Ariana expressed gratitude for all the love she's received in a lengthy statement posted on Instagram.
“I want to express my most sincere gratitude for the outpouring of love and support i have received from friends, family, and people I’ve never even met in the last two weeks,” she wrote. “When I have felt like I couldn’t even stand, you all have given me the strength to continue and seen me through my darkest hours.”
She continued: “To say I have been devastated and broken is an understatement. However, I know that I am not in this alone. So many of my closest friends are also grieving this loss right now and reeling from this betrayal on so many levels. I am so f—king lucky to have the best support system in the world and I hope I can repay every single person for the love you have shown me...What doesn’t kill me better run.”
