Tom Schwartz Says It’s Been a “Strange Few Years” with Tom Sandoval
The Vanderpump Rules cast member just reunited with his business partner in a very familiar place.
Tom Schwartz is reflecting on his friendship with best friend, business partner, and Vanderpump Rules castmate, Tom Sandoval.
The pals just spent some time together at the Franklin Village bar they co-own, Schwartz & Sandy's. Tom Schwartz posted a photo with the Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras front man on his Instagram Stories on August 21.
"Been a strange few years," Tom Schwartz captioned the image, which featured the castmates posing in front of their bar's sign.
Tom Sandoval's girlfriend, Victoria Lee Robinson, also joined the besties when they visited their bar for the night.
Before Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz took their photo together, Tom Sandoval did some carpool karaoke of his own with his girlfriend on the ride over. The couple also stopped by Jax Taylor's bar, Jax's Studio City, before they made their way over to Schwartz & Sandy's.
How Schwartz & Sandy's is doing
Viewers watched as Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz got their bar ready to open on Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules (though it wasn't featured at all again on Season 11 because their business partner "had an issue with filming").
Back in February 2024, Tom Schwartz revealed that the bar was doing well and that all three of the partners were in a good place. "We have a newfound sense of camaraderie there. Me and my partners, [Sandoval], Greg [Morris], we have momentum again. We're communicating clearly," he exclusively told The Daily Dish. "I just feel like the vibes are different in there."
Though things are good now for Schwartz & Sandy's, both Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval have been candid about how their business was affected when the latter Vanderpump Rules castmate broke up with his girlfriend of nine years, Ariana Madix.
"That place almost broke me, literally, figuratively. Every way, shape or form," Tom Schwartz said, adding that it did make him "a better person."
Now, Tom Schwartz, Tom Sandoval, and Greg are all getting ready to celebrate the bar's second anniversary — and Tom Schwartz is even thinking about opening a "good old-fashioned, quirky little dive bar."
"I low-key think that I want to open at least one more bar," Tom Schwartz told The Daily Dish. "But just like a dive bar, bare bones."
While Tom Schwartz is "proud" of Schwartz & Sandy's and the fact that it's survived in a "brutal" time, he wants to add to his business portfolio. "It's just tough. It's a brutal business...but I keep coming back for more," he concluded.
