Tom Schwartz's Blonde Hair Marks the "Beginning of a New Era" (PHOTOS)
The Vanderpump Rules cast member joked that the blonde hair look was a "mid-life crisis."
Tom Schwartz's blonde hair transformation ended up altering his life entirely.
On Season 11, Episode 11 of Vanderpump Rules, which aired on April 9, Schwartz enlisted the help of his former situationship, Jo Wenberg, to go blond. Now, Schwartz is reflecting on his experience with blonde hair.
Shortly before the Vanderpump Rules episode aired, Schwartz took to his Instagram to share a carousel of photos and videos, including a few gems from his blonde hair "era."
In part of the caption, Schwartz asked for some feedback on going blonde. "What are you guys rating my blonde era 1-10 ?" he asked. "It did mark the beginning of a new era."
Schwartz has at least one fan of his former hairdo: The Valley's Kristen Doute.
"I can’t with you," she commented on Schwartz's post. "I love you so much."

Schwartz achieved his bleach blonde locks with the help of his hairstylist ex-situationship, Jo. On Season 11, Episode 11 of Vanderpump Rules, Schwartz paid Jo's salon a visit. He told her and another employee that they had free rein to pick out his new look.
"You guys can do anything you want," he said. "Full mid-life crisis."
Jo was the one who decided on the light-colored tresses.
"Are you gonna bleach it?" Schwartz asked, and Jo responded, "Yeah, I mean, come on. Are you kidding me? It's not a big deal."
After Jo was done bleaching and styling Schwartz's hair, he wondered, "Do I look edgy now?"
Later on in the episode, at the singles' mixer, Schwartz wowed castmate Tom Sandoval and a few of their friends with his new look.
"You know what they say? Blondes have more fun. I gotta say, so far, it's ringing true for me," he said in an interview on the episode. "I've been just a little more upbeat, a little more pizzazz. I'm embracing my pre-mid-life crisis moment."
Following his divorce and some difficult times in his professional and personal life, Schwartz was hoping to turn over a new leaf with his hair.
"I wanted to mix it up and reinvent myself a little bit," he said.
