The face-off between the Vanderpump Rules castmates ended with James storming off the set not once but twice.
Tom Sandoval and James Kennedy are no longer on good terms, let alone good friends — but were they ever that close? Not really, according to Tom.
James, however, argued during Part 1 of the Vanderpump Rules Season 10 reunion that they were like “brothers,” which is why he was so upset to learn that Tom had cheated on Ariana Madix with none other than his ex-fiancée, Raquel Leviss.

James Called Out Tom’s “Crocodile Tears”
The tension between James and Tom began when the latter Vanderpump Rules cast member got choked up while discussing his infidelity, prompting James to yell, “Pull yourself together, man. You’re not at the Academy Awards. You’re not doing a f-cking audition. Be a man, mate. Pull yourself together. F-cking crocodile tears.”
Tom Downplayed His Friendship with James
Host Andy Cohen asked Tom, “Once you started your relationship with Raquel, why not come clean to Ariana?” But before he could answer, James added, “And to your friends?”
The DJ also asked Tom if he could “remember who I am,” so Tom promptly replied, “You’re James motherf-cking Kennedy.”
The moment had the potential to become a sweet one, but after some back-and-forth involving Lisa Vanderpump and Ariana, the latter innocuously said that Tom and James “were like brothers,” and that sent Tom over the edge. “We were like brothers?!” he responded. “I talked to [him] once a month, dude.”
“You’ve been a big bro, dude,” James fired back, while Lala Kent chimed in to say, “Let’s not forget, Raquel was his fiancée. You paid for half their engagement.”
James and Tom’s Past Issues Involving Kristen Doute Surfaced
As the shouting match between the two ramped up, James called Tom “an opportunist.” Tom, however, turned the insult back around at James, arguing that he was the one who started dating Kristen Doute “five days after we f-cking broke up” in an attempt to “get on the show.”
“When I was 21 years old! You’re a 42-year-old!” James yelled while standing up before attempting to get in Tom’s face.
Andy, at that point, had to hold him back.
James Stormed Off the Set — Twice
Tom and James then began trading insults, with the latter shouting that Tom is “a worm with a mustache,” while Tom told James, “You call yourself an artist? You’ve had the same haircut for f-cking years.”
Things only stopped once James stormed off the set, and while the group was eventually able to move on after he returned, Part 1 of the reunion ended with James once again abandoning the stage, saying, “I’m not gonna listen to this sh-t.”
