Tinsley Mortimer Reveals Who Convinced Her to Leave NYC for Chicago
The RHONY cast member "knew it was scary" to make such a big leap to be with Scott.
When Tinsley Mortimer appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Thursday (June 11), she shared if she has any regrets about moving to Chicago so quickly to be with now-fiancé Scott Kluth following their reconciliation last fall. The short answer: "Not at all."
The move took place during the June 11 episode of The Real Housewives of New York City — and it was advice she received earlier in the season that really gave her the courage to pack her bags to be with her man.
"It was something that at the moment, I knew it was scary but I knew that I had to trust myself. And it really was [boxing instructor] Martin [Snow]. I swear to god, it was totally Martin and him teaching me to really trust my gut," she said. "And I really followed my heart and my gut — and I knew it was the right decision."
Shortly after the move around Halloween last year, Scott proposed weeks later in late November. "It was sad. It was scary. It was all of it, but I knew it was right and I knew that I had to do it. And I knew that if I didn't do it, I would regret it and the outcome has been amazing," she said. "I didn't know we were going to get engaged so soon. I had no idea."
