Karen Huger Teases "Lies from the Past Will Be Revealed" in Season 4 of The Real Housewives of Potomac
Get the scoop on the Season 4 girls' trip, Katie Rost's return, and more from the RHOP grand dame herself.
As if we needed any more reasons to get excited for the upcoming Season 4 of The Real Housewives of Potomac, which premieres on Sunday, May 5 at 9/8c, Karen Huger just gave us several more during her appearance on Good Morning Washington earlier this week.
The RHOP grand dame kicked off her interview on Tuesday, April 9 with a tantalizing tease of the new season. "I can tell you a lot of the lies from the past will be revealed, a long time coming, so yay, yay, yay, yay. Super happy about that," Karen said while patting herself on the back. "A lot of love, a lot of forgiveness, a lot of fighting, because we're girls, we're strong women, but we bring it this season because we're just being authentically ourselves."
And Katie Rost's return to RHOP, which you get a taste of in the above trailer for Season 4, definitely won't disappoint, according to Karen. "She brings the fireworks," Karen said. "Katie is bringing Katie, authentically Katie. What can I say? You've got to stay tuned for Katie Rost, OK?"
Karen can also confirm that Monique Samuels' third child, son Chase Omari Samuels, whom she welcomed in November 2018, is as wonderful as you think. "He is so beautiful. Simply adore him," Karen gushed on Good Day Washington. "That family is fantastic."
As RHOP fans might expect, this season is loaded with tons of drama too, especially when the ladies go on a girls' trip, which gets pretty heated — literally and figuratively. "It's hot, it's sweaty, and we throw down quite a bit in the lobby," Karen said of the upcoming ladies' vacay.
When we last saw Karen during the RHOP Season 3 reunion, she was dealing with the loss of her father and mother, who passed away eight months apart. However, Karen said during her interview on Good Morning Washington that working on her new fragrance, La'Dame, really helped her heal during this difficult time.
"I am holding up as well as can be expected," she shared. "I threw myself into the project, which my mother, by the way, was very much an instrumental part of because I created La'Dame fragrance for my mom. And to have it come full circle is everything. I'm so excited to share it with everyone. It was actually a labor of love, so it saved me."
We'll catch up more with Karen and the rest of the Potomac posse when Season 4 of RHOP premieres on Sunday, May 5 at 9/8c. Until then, see what's in store for the new season, above. Then, catch the latest goings-on in Ashley Darby's life, below.
