Kelly Dodd Proudly Shares Her Age After Going Makeup Free
The Real Housewives of Orange County mom is here to set the record straight.
Kelly Dodd joined several of her fellow Real Housewives in going makeup free for PEOPLE's Beautiful Issue this month. And her natural beauty isn't the only thing Kelly isn't afraid to reveal these days.
The PEOPLE spread notes that Kelly is 44, in addition to listing the ages of all of the Housewives featured. However, Kelly posted a correction with her true age on Instagram Friday, noting that she is actually 42. "I picked up People Magazine today opened it and it says I’m 44. I am 42. Google says I’m 44. How can I fix this?" Kelly shared on Instagram. "44 and 42 is still old. I just want it to be correct!"
Clearly, Kelly continues to look more and more stunning as time goes by. Perhaps that's because one of her beauty secrets is that she swears by "sunscreen to prevent wrinkles," she told PEOPLE in The Beautiful Issue.
Kelly also shared with PEOPLE how her beauty routine has changed over time. "When I was younger I [used] to just wash my face and call it a night. Now I wash, tone, brighten, retin A, moisturize," she said. "I believe beauty starts from the inside out, so I am more mindful now about nutrition, exercise and getting enough sleep."
