Former The Real Housewives of Orange County husband Terry Dubrow has a new home on Oxygen Media, the home for quality true crime programming, as the host of License to Kill. The series intersects two of the Botched plastic surgeon's biggest passions: the medical world as well as the law. And considering his already jam-packed schedule, when The Daily Dish recently spoke to Dr. Dubrow, he opened up about how his wife, Heather Dubrow, and family reacted to the news that he would add another project to his schedule.

"Heather at first said 'You're kidding, right? Another thing. You're killing me with this.' But she knows this has been one of my passions forever," he said. "And I almost went to law school after med school and have always been interested in the interaction between the legal system and the medical system."

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on Peacock and the Bravo App.

The Dr. Dubrow-hosted series will take a closer look at cases involving medical professionals who put their patients in jeopardy as told from the perspective of victims, families, colleagues, and law enforcement. Each episode will expose what happens when doctors use their expertise to harm instead of heal over any number of causes: money, jealousy, power, or from mental breakdown. The series will take a look at how authorities were finally able to stop these medical professionals’ malpractice, putting an end to the madness before someone else got hurt or killed.

He told The Daily Dish, "As soon as I walked into UCLA as an intern in surgery the surgery bug bit me and I love surgery, but I've always been fascinated by the powers that we have and the ability to really do [it]. It's just something that's been a passion of mine to make sure that there's somebody watching out for the person who is subjected to us [as doctors]."

License to Kill premiered on Oxygen this past Sunday, June 23. Watch the first episode below, and catch new episodes Sundays at 7/6c.
