Teresa Giudice delivered on her promise. When her daughter, Gabriella Giudice, turned 19 on October 4, The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom took to Instagram to share a birthday tribute — and to tease her upcoming plans to visit her daughter at the University of Michigan.
"Happy birthday to my porcelain doll Gabriella. This is my first birthday away from you, but don’t worry I will see you very soon to celebrate and give you the biggest hug!" the mother of four wrote. Fast forward to the weekend after Gabreilla's birthday, and Teresa had indeed arrived at the Midwestern campus, along with her husband Luis "Louie" Ruelas.
While on campus, Teresa didn't just offer her daughter a birthday hug. As Instagram posts proved, Teresa's visit to the University of Michigan also included shopping, a spa day, restaurant trips, and a very special birthday dessert for Gabriella.

Teresa is the queen of love love love, and that much was clear in her Instagram Stories. As she filmed her college freshman on a shopping trip, she couldn't help but gush: "My birthday girl. I love you. Look at her! Gabriella, I love you so much. Let me see you. Look how beautiful she is!"
While at a local mall, the mother-daughter duo scooped up some birthday gifts for Gabriella. as evidenced by a handful of bags that they had in tow.
As for Louie, he took the opportunity to relax. Filming her husband kicking back in a comfy chair, Teresa said: "What a good husband, sitting there as me and Gabriella are shopping."
The birthday visit also included plenty of celebratory meals. Throughout the weekend, Teresa shared peeks at a pizza outing with Gabriella and her friends. She also showed off a stop at a sun-filled restaurant where she, Gabriella, and Louie spent some quality time at a table for three. In another Instagram Story, Gabriella was seen blowing out the candles on a bowl of ice cream after she'd been serenaded with the birthday song.
And that's not all. Between all the shopping and restaurant-hopping, Teresa and Gabriella found some time to relax. Filming herself and her daughter in matching white robes, Teresa announced: "We're having a spa day. Facial, massage." Gabriella replied: "Yay! I'm so excited."
Teresa summed up the vibe of the weekend in a casual Instagram Story, which showed her and Gabriella in the backseat of a car after an apparent trip to the coffee shop. "I'm with my beautiful Gabriella," the proud mama said, filming her daughter with a strawberry-flecked pink drink in hand. "I'm so happy we came to celebrate her birthday. I love you, Gabriella."
