Nearly two years after tying the knot, Teresa Giudice and Luis “Louie” Ruelas are still going strong.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom this very clear in a recent interview with the Daily Mail, explaining why she was so grateful to have found a man like Louie. Teresa told the outlet that the past few years haven’t been easy for her entrepreneur hubby, who's continued to clash with some of her castmates and their significant others.
“He’s the best husband. He really is,” the mother of four said. “And I’m lucky to have him because not too many men would deal with the crap that he dealt with… Have you been watching the show? Poor guy! I mean, what they put him through. Like, all the lies.”

Although the on-screen drama has been far from pleasant, Teresa insisted it had only strengthened her marriage, as demonstrated in Season 18. The February 17 premiere saw Teresa in a tense exchange with fellow ’Wife Rachel Fuda and her husband, John Fuda, who previously accused Louie of hiring a private investigator to “dig up dirt on” the cast.
In response to the allegations, which Louie repeatedly denied, Teresa referred to John as “the biggest drug dealer in Bergen County” — a reference to the drug-related charges he faced as a teen. The Jersey mom addressed the disparaging remark during the June 9 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, saying she was simply standing up for Louie.
“He accused my husband of reaching out to his ex that was in jail, and why would he do that?” she told host Andy Cohen. “They threw the first punch, so I’m gonna finish the fight. Trust me.”

Teresa told the Daily Mail she was so thankful for Louie’s unwavering support amid all the conflict with her castmates, including her estranged sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, and Margaret Josephs. Tensions are expected to come to a head in the RHONJ Season 18 finale, which Andy described as "shocking [and] dramatic."
“I was pissed! I mean, you’ll see why,” Teresa said about the finale’s explosive dinner fight. “Yeah, I was pissed. I feel like there’s a lot of indication with us, you know, like they put all these – Margaret put lies out there. Rachel put lies out there. My family put lies out there. It all gets resolved. You’re going to see everything.”
How Teresa and Louie will celebrate their 2nd wedding anniversary
Teresa and Louie got hitched in August 2022, less than two years after the Jersey 'Wife finalized her divorce from Joe Giudice. Teresa told the Daily Mail she and her hubby plan to celebrate their anniversary next month with an international getaway.
"We’re going away for our two-year anniversary," she said. "We’re going to go to Mykonos. We’re going to Ibiza and Turkey."
