Teresa Gets Ready to Visit Joe Giudice

Following the news that a judge ordered Joe Giudice be deported back to Italy following his prison sentence, Teresa Guidice is speaking up about that decision — noting that right now she and her family are focused on appealing the ruling. The Real Housewives of New Jersey husband has 30 days from the October 10 decision to appeal the order made in immigration court earlier this month.

"We are not even thinking about [whether we'd move to Italy] right now. We're going to take it day by day. We're going to take it one step at a time," Teresa told Entertainment Tonight. "First, we're going to process the paperwork to do an appeal, and we're going to get through that."

Joe is currently serving 41 months for mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud at Federal Correctional Institution Allenwood in Pennsylvania. His sentence began in March 2016 at the FCI in Fort Dix, New Jersey and he was transferred at the end of 2017 to the Pennsylvania location.

Teresa added in her interview with ET: "I can't predict the future, and I am not going to be ... I am going to be positive about it."

She also noted that she doesn't even want to talk to her husband about the possible deportation. "Joe starts talking about [the deportation order] and I don't want to talk about it yet. I am like, 'We're not talking about this yet,'" she said. "I shut him down. I don't want to talk about it, and what comes first is our daughters and we're going to fight this."

Teresa then shut down any speculation that she would ever consider divorce. "No. We're going to be a family, and we're going to fight this and get through this," she said.

Giudice family attorney James J. Leonard Jr. also recently shut down chatter about Teresa and Joe's nearly two decades-long marriage in a statement to Page Six last month: “Teresa is not talking about getting divorced, she is not thinking about getting divorced and she’s not filing for divorce. It’s not happening, not just now, but never. I can’t be any more clear about it.”
