Teresa Giudice Opens Up About the Emotional Days Before Her Father's Passing
The RHONJ cast member reflected on her difficult year and the loss of her dad, Giacinto Gorga.
A lot has changed for the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey since we last caught up with the ladies at the Season 10 reunion. From kids growing up to relationship struggles, a lot has been going on in the Garden State.
Perhaps the biggest change for cast member Teresa Giudice has been the loss of her father, Giacinto Gorga. In Bravo Insider’s exclusive first look at the first few minutes of the Season 11 premiere, Teresa gets emotional talking about her father during a FaceTime call with her eldest daughter, Gia Giudice.
During the chat, in which Teresa was getting ready for an event to celebrate Jackie Goldschneider’s husband Evan’s birthday, she mentioned that she had just visited the cemetery.
“I always go to the cemetery and talk to him and to my mom,” Teresa explained. “I have my days. Some days, I’m like, really emotional.”
In an interview during the episode, Teresa also reflected on her feelings: “It has just, like, been the worst year ever.”
