Is President Obama Nominating a Sandoval to the Supreme Court?

President Barack Obama is reportedly considering nominating Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval to fill the vacancy in the U.S. Supreme Court after Justice Antonin Scalia's death earlier this month, according to The Washington Post. A spokesperson for the governor, Mari St. Martin, said, “Neither Governor Sandoval nor his staff has been contacted by or talked to the Obama administration regarding any potential vetting for the vacancy on the U.S. Supreme Court.” 

The review process is still in its infancy, and even if President Obama does pick Sandoval, there's still the fact that Senate Republicans have said they won't consider any Supreme Court nominations until the next president is in the White House. 

But still, when we heard Brian Sandoval's name thrown out there for this powerful position, we couldn't help but think of another Sandoval we all know and love: Vanderpump Rules' Tom Sandoval.

OK, so it doesn't look like Brian Sandoval is actually related to this SURver, which means our dreams of seeing the Vanderpump Rules squad partying in those long, black robes alongside Ruth Bader-Ginsburg have been dashed.

But now seeing his last name thrown out there in regards to the next Supreme Court Justice nomination, could Tom consider having his own desire to end up in the highest court in the country one day?
