Paige DeSorbo Wants to Clear Something Up About Her Comments on Lindsay Hubbard’s Dating Life
The Summer House cast member also reacted to Lindsay predicting she would end up with either Austen or Carl in the Season 6 finale.
Lindsay Hubbard and Paige DeSorbo had their differences in Season 6 of Summer House. But as the summer came to a close in the finale episode, which aired May 2, the two shared a touching moment as Paige showed her support for Lindsay in her search for lasting love.
And when it comes to the one who will ultimately win her heart, Lindsay made a major prediction. “Well, I have a theory. It’s gonna come down to two f--king idiots,” she told Paige. “Who do you think they are?”
Paige correctly guessed Carl Radke, but she was stumped about the other gentleman. “Who’s Craig [Conover]’s best friend?” Lindsay hinted to Paige.
Of course, Paige took that to mean Lindsay was referring to Craig’s fellow Southern Charm-er Austen Kroll, whom Lindsay has hooked up with and expressed romantic feelings for in the past. “Oh, bitch!” Paige exclaimed after hearing the revelation. “OK, well, move to Charleston. Don’t tempt me with a good f--king time.”
While that admission may have shocked Summer House viewers, given all the drama Austen caused for Lindsay and Ciara Miller this season, it didn’t come as a surprise to Paige. “I think that they’ve always had an interesting relationship,” she said of Lindsay and Austen during her May 2 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “It really could’ve gone one of two ways. So, yeah, I get it.”
Of course, Lindsay ultimately ended up with Carl. Serving as each other’s dates to the Summer House prom party as well as Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula’s wedding, Lindsay and Carl discussed the possibility of dating in the future. The pair later went public with their relationship in January.
However, we did see Lindsay sneak into Carl’s room during their last night in the house this season, although Lindsay said in an episode interview that nothing happened between them. “I just crawled into bed and went straight to sleep,” she confirmed.
Paige said she actually believed Lindsay during Monday night’s WWHL. “I actually do buy that, because they live in the same building. They’ve always hung out,” Paige said. “So I feel like a sleepover with nothing happening, that could’ve happened.”
As you can see, Paige was incredibly understanding of much of Lindsay’s actions in the Summer House Season 6 finale. This was a far cry from earlier in the season when Paige was particularly vocal about Lindsay dating multiple men throughout the summer.
Paige clarified where she was coming from with her criticism on WWHL (clip below). “I do understand her, like, going through the summer and dating different guys. And my ‘shaming’ her was really about her not liking Austen, obviously. So she brought someone else home, and I just thought that was mean to Ciara,” Paige explained. “But I think she should do whoever she wants whenever she wants.”
This definitely is not the last we’ll hear about Lindsay, Ciara, and Austen. You’ll be picking your jaw up off the floor when the two-part Summer House Season 6 reunion kicks off on Monday, May 9, at 9/8c. Get your first look at the eyebrow-raising sit-down below.
