Here’s What Austen Kroll Really Thinks as He “Looks Back” on His Situation with Ciara and Lindsay
The Southern Charm-er reflects on all the Summer House drama involving his romances with Lindsay Hubbard and Ciara Miller.
Austen Kroll is opening up about all the drama fans saw unfold around him in the Hamptons during Season 6 of Summer House, which involved both Ciara Miller and Lindsay Hubbard. The Southern Charm-er, who carried on romances with both Ciara and Lindsay following last season of Winter House, reflected on the tension he caused on account of how he dealt with the situation, and he revealed where he stands with both Summer House cast members today.
“All that I can do is look back and, hopefully, like, do better,” Austen told The Daily Dish at NBCUniversal’s upfront presentation on May 16, going on to explain that he was newly single following his difficult breakup with Madison LeCroy and all the ups and downs he’s been through in the romance department.
“This past summer, I was single, officially, for like the first time,” Austen said, going on to admit that he could’ve been more considerate of others’ feelings. “I was selfish. I understand that my selfishness hurt other people’s feelings, and so all I can do is try and do better, you know, learn and grow, of course.”
As for where things stand today following the drama-filled summer, Austen shared that he “had a chance to talk with both” Ciara and Lindsay, and that he is currently “friends with them.”
Austen’s romances with both ladies came up once again during Part 2 of the Summer House Season 6 reunion, with Ciara noting that — despite hooking up with him following their summer in the Hamptons — she no longer had feelings for Austen.
And when The Daily Dish caught up with Lindsay and Carl Radke at NBCUniversal’s upfront on Monday, another moment came up from the Season 6 sit-down that involved an unexpected comment Alex Wach had made in reference to Austen’s role in all the romance-related drama. Lindsay shared her reaction to Alex’s observation, saying, “I mean, Alex with the zingers! I’ve always known Alex to be a funny guy, but he really brought it at the reunion.”
Lindsay went on to highlight how she had moved well beyond the situation with Austen, as she and Carl were still going strong in their relationship, saying, “We’re like that annoying cutesy couple that makes everyone else jealous.”
Fans can see more of Austen this summer as Season 8 of Southern Charm premieres on Thursday, June 23, at 9/8c. Check out the full trailer, below!
