Amanda Batula Addresses Speculation She’s Pregnant
The Summer House cast member responds to speculation after posting about something she was "really excited" about.
Summer House's Amanda Batula is addressing speculation that she's pregnant on Instagram Stories this week. The comments came after she posted her recent bagel order that she admitted she didn't realize would cause such a stir.
After posting about her meal choice (which, might we add, looks very tasty!), she shared in a subsequent post on Instagram Stories that "I am not pregnant," before adding that "I was just really excited for my bagel this morning and thought I'd share. Didn't realize my order was so out there haha."
It has been a busy summer for Amanda, who recently turned 31 and spent the special day with her loved ones, husband Kyle Cooke as well as their dogs, Reese and Ryder. She's also shared many snapshots from the couple's many adventures and trips, including getaways to Italy and New Hampshire.
Next month, Amanda and Kyle will celebrate their 1-year wedding anniversary and when Bravo Insider chatted with the couple earlier this year, they did elaborate on their plans to start a family now that they are married.
"I think I'm just waiting for some of my friends to be in the same place. A lot of my friends are engaged or in serious relationships and getting married soon. So I'd like to be able to be at their wedding not with child, and I'd also love to be pregnant and be having kids around the same age as some of my friends," Amanda said in the interview earlier this spring. "We'll just have to see when the rest of my group catches up to me, and that's when we'll be ready."
At the time, Kyle was hoping to add a few pups to their family first, which they eventually did. "I think first things first, we're going to adopt some dogs and take on a little more responsibility in that regard. And that buys me a little time to keep working hard on Loverboy and [try] to create some financial security," Kyle explained in the same Bravo Insider interview. "You know, I think that's what every guy wants to do is kind of, like, support his family. So, I mean, that's kind of what I'm heading down and doing. I don't mind the fact that some of her friends are a little further behind, because that buys me a little time."
The couple's wedding was featured in Season 6 of Summer House. Relive some of those highlights, below.
Summer House is streaming on Peacock and available on the Bravo app.
