This Is the Advice Madison Gave Venita About Sharing Her Life on Southern Charm

Venita Aspen is already making a splash as one of the newest cast members on Season 8 of Southern Charm. Prior to officially joining the show, the Southern Charm newcomer revealed she received some sage advice from her friend and fellow cast member, Madison LeCroy.

In an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish, Venita opened up about what her experience in joining the Southern Charm cast has been like, following her initial appearances in Season 7. “Coming on to the season as a full-time cast member this year has been pretty rewarding,’ she said. “Last season I kind of like set the goal of like ‘Okay, like if they give me the opportunity, I'm going to do it and see if I can, you know, see what I have what it takes to like make it.’ And so far I think I'm doing pretty all right.”

Madison couldn’t agree more, telling The Daily Dish, "Honestly, I'm so glad. I'm so glad Venita's on here. Like finally, it's a breath of fresh air.”

Venita also revealed the tips Madison gave her before her first season as a cast member. “Yeah, Madison actually gave me a lot of advice with.. how I should kind of like maneuver myself in the group,” she said, going on to explain “She knows that I like to speak ..or stand up for people when I should. And she was like ‘Don't do any of that. They don't need you to stand up for them.’”

Madison also added, “I just told Venita, ‘You know, be yourself.’ And like the side that I see of Venita is what you're actually seeing on TV. She's spicy, she’s fun.”
