Taylor Ann Green's Confession About Austen Kroll

Olivia raised the topic of the rumors after Shep Rose informed her of his suspicions about Taylor and Austen, which were sparked by Jarrett "JT" Thomas revealing that Taylor had stayed the night at Austen's after a group night out. Olivia, more specifically, told Taylor, "JT raised questions involving you and Austen, and Shep started to seem a little shook."

"Nothing is going on, and I will put my hand on a bible," Taylor replied. "There's nothing going on."

There was, however, a moment in time when Taylor and Austen were considering becoming more than friends.

"To be completely honest, after New York ... when he was not in a good place with you [and] I was not in a good place with Shep, we created, like, such a bond in the midst of that vulnerability and that just absolute brokenness," Taylor explained. "And [with] the two of us being pushed together because of our situations, I was like, 'I mean, Austen, is this something we explore?' I was the one that said it. I was like, 'Is this something we were meant to explore?'"

Austen, according to Taylor, was also unsure. So, she called her brother to get his opinion (Austen, meanwhile, consulted his sister). "His advice was, 'Taylor, why would you jump out of the frying pan into the fire? Like, where are these feelings coming from? Is it genuine or is it just because you feel broken and empty and that's your crutch?'"

Taylor's response? "Yeah, I think you're right."

"So, I was like, 'Austen, I think maybe I'm just lost in emotions,'" Taylor recalled. "And he was like, '[I] 100 percent agree.'"

As for why Taylor never told Olivia, she said, "The reason I didn't talk to you about it was because you were going through so much already, I didn't want to be like, 'Oh by the way Olivia, I just want to let you know that I had this conversation.'"

Olivia Flowers' Reaction to Taylor Ann Green's Confession About Austen Kroll

Olivia was naturally taken aback, and she argued, "Don't you think the having the conversations about whether or not y'all want to be together is something to want to talk to me about? Like, y'all had conversations about if y'all should be boyfriend and girlfriend enough to where you're talking to your family."

Taylor clarified that her and Austen's conversation, as well as their talks with their family members, took place "within a 24-hour period."

"It was a moment of weakness," Taylor added. "Olivia, I don't want to ever think that I'm betraying your trust."

"That's what's, like the bummer of this," Olivia responded. "It's not the you and Austen part; Our friendship is what is most important to me. I mean, did anything happen that made you go from 'he's my brother' to talking to your family about possibly dating him? [A] drunken kiss or hook up or anything?"

Taylor assured Olivia they "never hooked up, never anything."

The conversation ended shortly after that, as did the episode — with one of the final shots showing a crying Olivia in her car.
