Olivia Flowers is officially moving on from Austen Kroll.
Following the pair's romance on Southern Charm Season 8, a sneak peek for Sept. 21's Season 9, Episode 2 shows that Olivia is dipping her toes back into the dating pool with none other than new cast member Rod Razavi.

Olivia and Rod's Date
As the clip shows, Olivia and Rod are enjoying their first date in a park. He came prepared with a bag full of sandwiches and Capri Suns, telling her, "Yeah, we're doing, like, full-on high school vibes."
There's just one problem, though — Rod reveals he's been told he's "a really bad eater," so he typically tries "to not eat on first and second dates."
Olivia, for her part, promises not to watch him eat his sandwich.
She does break said promise, but Rod ends up laughing about it. He also goes on to share that he "had to go to two spots" to get gluten-free bread for Olivia.
"You're lying. Are you serious?" she replies. "That's very thoughtful."
Continuing in a confessional interview, Olivia adds, "Rod is so sweet. He's just got such a chivalrous spirit about him. It's really refreshing. It makes me want to give him a fair shot."
At the same time, Olivia admits she "can't help but compare him to Austen."
"It's like I was in Neverland," Olivia concludes, "and now I'm on earth."
How Austen Kroll Reacted to Olivia and Rod's Date
Eventually, Rod and Austen come face to face and it's at that sit-down that Rod reveals the "awkward" news that he went out with Olivia. The revelation more or less left Austen speechless.
What to Expect on Season 9 with Olivia and Rod
The Southern Charm sneak peek clip may not have shown it, but the Season 9 trailer did — and by "it," we mean the kiss that Olivia and Rod exchange on their date.
The trailer also teased that later this season, Rod will have a conversation with Austen in which he confesses, "I've been out with Olivia."
Suffice to say, things get pretty awkward.

Ultimately, love didn’t exactly work out between Olivia and Rod. During a recent interview with ET, Olivia and Rod shared where things stand with them today and gave an update on their current status with Austen.
"Timing was not out our side," Olivia admitted about her romance with Rod, which viewers have seen blossom on Season 9. "But we both appreciate each other's friendship.”

Despite being caught off-guard by Olivia and Rod's romance, Austen and the Southern Charm newcomer are cordial with each other. "We're on good terms... now," Rod told ET. When it comes to Olivia and Austen’s dynamics, she admitted the two are “friendly.”
