Southern Charm New Orleans' Reagan Charleston Is Married and Expecting Her First Child
Following her divorce from first husband Jeff Charleston, Reagan Charleston is beginning her new chapter as a mom.
There's big news coming out of the Big Easy: Reagan Charleston is going to be a mom AND she's walked down the aisle!
The Southern Charm New Orleans lawyer is expecting her first child with partner Reece Thomas, PEOPLE has confirmed. "I’m so ready to be a mom,” Reagan told PEOPLE. “I keep thinking about the fact that I’m bringing a life into this world. I’m going to have a little person who I’m going to feed and raise. It’s the warmest feeling. I’m so excited.”
Reagan also confirmed that she and Reece are now married. The two reconnected after her separation from first husband Jeff Charleston in June 2018, having previously dated over 10 years ago. This will also be the first child for Reece, 32, who according to PEOPLE is an operations manager at Elite Thoroughbreds Farm. “[Reece] was born to be a dad," Reagan told PEOPLE. "He’s so good with kids and he’s got a dad hat on already."
“We had instant chemistry; it was like no time had passed at all,” she continued. “Especially after my divorce, it was so nice to have someone who felt familiar. I had spent months living on my own in the French Quarter, living an independent life. And right when I felt ready to start dating again, Reece came back in my life. It felt like serendipity. Like everything happened for a reason. There’s no other way to describe it: it just feels right.”
Things are going amazing for Reagan in her professional life as well. After graduating law school last May and passing the bar in April, Reagan officially became an attorney in May. She also continues to run her successful jewelry line and just opened up a boutique in October. This summer, she'll start her own practice in New Orleans with her father-in-law, focusing primarily on real estate law. “Everything has been in hyperdrive, but it’s been incredible," Reagan told PEOPLE.
