Shereé Shares Her Thoughts on a Possible Kim and Kroy Reconciliation
The RHOA mom weighed in on her former castmate's divorce proceedings: "I just don’t want to see it over for them two."
Like many people, Shereé Whitfield was completely shocked by the bombshell news of Kim Zolciak-Biermann and Kroy Biermann’s divorce.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom shared her reaction in a recent interview with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, confirming she has been in touch with her good friend and former castmate since the split was announced.
“I didn’t see it coming. I absolutely did not see it coming,” Shereé said about the estranged couple’s divorce filings. “I imagined Kim and Kroy old and [having] grandkids and never breaking up. I don’t think anyone saw that coming. They just seemed like the perfect couple.”
Shereé understands what Kim is going through
The She by Shereé boss went on to say that she feels for Kim, and referenced her own divorce from ex-NFL player Bob Whitfield in 2007.
“She’s dealing with a lot,” Shereé said. “She has a lot of kids and is just really trying to be strong for the kids. But at the same time, you’re going through so much. And I was there with her. I’ve done it before. It’s not fun and it’s not easy… I have talked to her and I know she’s going through it. It’s a tough time, especially when it’s so much and being public. It’s hard.”

Kim and Kroy were introduced at the 2010 Dancing Stars of Atlanta gala, a charity event in which Shereé was competing against the then-Atlanta Falcons player. Kim attended the function to support Shereé and immediately hit it off with the now-retired defensive end. The two tied the knot in November 2011 and went on to welcome four kids together: Kroy Jagger, Kash, and twins Kane and Kaia. Kroy legally adopted Kim’s daughters, Brielle and Ariana Biermann in 2013.
Shereé believes Kim and Kroy "can work through" their issues
Although Kim and Kroy each filed for divorce, Shereé says there is still a chance for reconciliation.
“Just because you filed — because we … saw the love they had for each other — that doesn’t mean that it’s over,” she said. “I don’t know if they’ve had counseling. I don’t know how far they’ve gone. I just don’t want to see it over for them two… I think sometimes you can work through it.”
Kim will return to RHOA in Season 15
About a month after filing for divorce, Kim took to Instagram to promote her cameo on RHOA. The “Tardy for the Party” singer was spotted in the series’ Season 15 trailer with fellow alums DeShawn Snow and Lisa Wu. Kim teased her appearance with an Instagram photo in which she was seen posing with DeShawn, Lisa, and Shereé.
