Rodrigo Reyes Engaged to Boyfriend Tyler After Proposing "Across the Globe" (PICS)
Southern Charm's Rodrigo Reyes got engaged to his longtime boyfriend, Tyler Dugas, while on vacation with close friends.
Southern Charm's Rodrigo Reyes is engaged to his longtime boyfriend, Tyler Dugas! Rodrigo shared the happy news on his Instagram Story on Thursday, Aug. 29, where posted photos from the trip where the proposal took place.
The interior decorator revealed he popped the question in Santorini, Greece while on a vacation in the Mediterranean with their friends. Rodrigo posted a group photo of himself and his fiancé, with his arms wrapped around Tyler, kissing his cheek, while their friends smiled next to them.

"Across the globe, amongst our closest friends..." Tyler captioned the photo, adding, "He said yes."
In April, Rodrigo took to Instagram where he hinted that a trip to Greece was imminent, posting throwback photos with Tyler on the Greek islands. "With summer approaching, I'm getting the Greek itch!" he wrote in the caption of the post.

This engagement comes as Rodrigo and Tyler recently marked spending nearly a decade together. Rodrigo took to Instagram on July 4, where he revealed that he and Tyler were celebrating their 9-year anniversary. In the photos posted to his Instagram feed, Rodrigo and Tyler can be seen posing on a dock in casual outfits, then dressed up in tuxedos, posing together at a wedding with Madison Lecroy.
"9 years of chaos: The Musical," Rodrigo wrote in the caption about his relationship with his now fiancé, who works in Charleston as a physical therapist according to his Instagram bio. Earlier this summer, Tyler reflected on their relationship with Rodrigo, writing, "40 trips around the [sun] and 9 of them together. Here’s to many more!"
Several of his friends from Southern Charm took to the comments where they expressed their excitement for the couple as they marked their anniversary earlier this summer. "I love you guys," Taylor Ann Green commented, along with a red heart emoji.
"Killing it!" Leva Bonaparte added, along with three red heart emojis. "Happy 9 loves!"
Needless to say, it's been a busy summer for the couple. In June, they traveled to Mexico with Austen Kroll, where they had a stunning tropical getaway. In July, they appeared at Leva's Charleston club, Republic Garden and Lounge, where they celebrated Austen and his beer brand, Trop Hop Beers.
