Wendy Osefo Sets the Record Straight on Her Hot Mic Moment
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member addressed the mic’d confession about Mia Thornton during WWHL.
Dr. Wendy Osefo had something to say about that hot mic moment when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Sunday, November 6.
Said moment played out on a recent episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac when Wendy — still wearing a live mic, unbeknownst to her — accused her castmate Mia Thornton of “lying” about her health issues. Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant had previously expressed a similar sentiment, but instead of agreeing with them at the time, Wendy accused Robyn of calling Mia “a liar.” (Robyn has denied this.)
All this led Andy to ask Wendy on WWHL, “Will you own your hot mic moment where you were caught calling Mia a liar right after lecturing Robyn for doing the same and denying you had?”
“Yes, I’ll own it,” Wendy responded. “But what me and Robyn were talking about was how she and Gizelle approached Mia. I never said that I believed her. I was just saying that Robyn and Gizelle’s approach, by being in her face, was wrong.”
Added Wendy, “So, two different things.”
