Candiace Dillard Bassett Reveals All About the "Intense Journey" She's Experiencing with Chris in Season 7

The Real Housewives of Potomac's Candiace Dillard Bassett wears many hats (including music star, more on that above), but she's hoping to add another title to her resume: mom. The RHOP cast member is taking fans inside her journey to motherhood in Season 7 and now she's spilling more about what it's been like for her to put that emotional experience out there.

Candiace spoke about "our IVF journey" that she and her husband Chris Bassett are going through this season on RHOP in a fan Q&A with Bravo on November 15. "You will see us sort of go through every phase of IVF on the show," she told Bravo fans during the candid chat. "So I don't wanna spoil it, but it was a very intense journey and I'm grateful that I was able to get through it."

Last month, when Season 7 of RHOP premiered, Candiace shed more light on where she was in her IVF experience. "We actually started the egg-freezing process last year but I was apprehensive about starting the journey because… It’s a huge decision!" she tweeted in October. "This year, I went in full steam ahead with my husband‘s support! But Lord Jesus… It was a really intense journey."

In the October 9 episode, she also shared more about how her busy schedule might affect her plans. "It's now or never," she said about why she now wanted to freeze her eggs. "Like if I don't do it now, I'm gonna have two eggs left and no kid."

She added, "My lap is full of things. My cup is running over, honey. I am preparing for the re-release of my album Deep Space. We just did my first tour and I opened for SWV [and] Faith Evans. I can't stop at this moment. So I want to have that security of knowing I have some eggs in the freezer, stored away for me when I'm ready to have kids."

As for her timeline, she joked, "I am ready to get pregnant every Wednesday and then Thursday at, like, 10 p.m. I want to go on tour. I want to do five million things. I don't frickin know."

On Twitter, the same night of the premiere, she also commented on being nervous about how hard it might be for both of them to carve out the time. "[Chris’] work schedule is a HUGE point of contention because when I think about becoming a parent, it worries me to think that the industry that he works in could keep him away," she said. "Even though I know he’s away providing for us, it still stresses me out."
