Jennifer Aydin Shares a Touching Message to Husband Bill: "I'm Glad I Stayed"
The RHONJ cast member is feeling grateful for her family following a difficult Season 12 premiere.
Following a dramatic Season 12 premiere of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, which aired on February 1, Jennifer Aydin is focusing on what matters most: her family.
In honor of Throwback Thursday on February 3, Jennifer took to Instagram to share a vintage pic of her loved ones, which showed her and her husband, Dr. Bill Aydin, along with their five children (daughters Gabby and Olivia and sons Justin, Jacob, and Christian), all smiles in the kitchen as they get ready to eat some cake. "I’m glad I stayed…and forgave," Jennifer captioned the photo.
This Instagram post comes after a difficult start to the season for Jennifer, who felt tension with some of the other members of the RHONJ crew in the premiere episode. When Margaret Josephs confronted Jennifer at Teresa Giudice's pool party about some past issues with Bill, conflict erupted between the two Jersey Housewives, which we will see the conclusion of in the next episode (Bravo Insider members can get an exclusive first look at it here).
Teresa showed her support for Jennifer in the comments of her Instagram post. "Amen to that," Teresa wrote in response to Jennifer's message. "You have a beautiful family God bless."
Teresa also had Jennifer's back during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on February 1. "That was so wrong," Teresa said of Margaret talking about Jennifer's marriage (clip below). "She's lucky she didn't end up in the pool."
If you follow Jennifer on Instagram, you know that she is all about her family. Her page is full of photos of family gatherings and date nights with Bill, including an outing last month with Teresa and her fiancé Luis "Louie" Ruelas that was full of "shenanigans."
Though this season of RHONJ was difficult, Jennifer recently told Page Six that she — and Bill — were ready to face it all head-on together. “He supported me in the sense of letting me share our story, which I think is very brave of him,” Jennifer said. “And I told him if we were able to get through it when it happened 10 years ago, we’ll be able to get through it now.”
These days, the couple is doing better than ever, as Jennifer confirmed in an interview with E! News. "Bill and I are fantastic," she shared. "We are in a place where we're just going to filter out the noise and not let anybody ruin our happiness. I do have the perfect family for me, it's perfect for me. I know nothing is perfect but it works for us and we do whatever it takes to make it work and like I tell everybody we are committed to the family. We will like move hell and high water in order to keep it intact and happy."
The caption to one recent family photo perfectly sums it up: "It’s best when we’re all together."
