Gia Giudice Reacts After Andy Cohen Pays Tribute to One of Her Most Iconic RHONJ Moments
Teresa Giudice's firstborn showed love to the WWHL host after he referenced a "Sad Song" lyric in an Instagram post with daughter Lucy.
Andy Cohen is putting his own spin on a classic moment from The Real Housewives of New Jersey. On November 10, the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host shared a photo of his six-and-a-half-month-old daughter, Lucy Eve Cohen, on Instagram.
"Waking up in the morning... feeling so many things," Andy wrote in the caption of his November 10 post, along with a red heart emoji.
As longtime fans of RHONJ (or those up-to-date on TikTok trends) will know, Andy's caption pays homage to Gia Giudice's "Sad Song." Teresa Giudice's eldest wrote and sang the emotional song on Season 3 of the show back in 2011.
At the time, Gia wrote the tune to share her feelings about her mom's conflict with Joe Gorga.
"Waking up in the morning, thinking about so many things. I just wish things would get better," Gia sings in the beginning of the original song. Fast-forward a decade later, and a snippet of the tune went viral on TikTok.
Gia subsequently collaborated with Hazel Boutique to release "Waking Up in the Morning" merchandise, which included sweatshirts. In Andy's Instagram post, he's wearing a light blue hoodie from the line, while Lucy has on a cheetah print onesie.
The Rutgers University student reposted Andy's photo to her Instagram Story, and she added three white heart emojis to show her support. She shared the same emojis in the comments section as well.
Gia wasn't the only Bravolebrity who sent Andy and Lucy love in the comments. Her mom posted five double heart emojis, while RHONJ's Margaret Josephs pointed out Lucy's eyes by writing, "The baby blues!!" Dolores Catania added, "Soooooo perfect" in her own message.
RHOC's Tamra Judge called Lucy a "cutie pie," and Chanel Ayan from RHODubai called Andy's baby girl "a beauty."
