Meghan King Confirms Her Marriage to Cuffe Biden Owens Has Been Annulled

Meghan King’s marriage to Cuffe Biden Owens is officially annulled. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum shared the update on her love life in a recent chat with The Real Housewives of Dubai’s Caroline Stanbury.

“I was very confused by the whole [relationship], but I’m just glad that it was short and sweet and it’s done and it’s annulled. The end. I put it behind me,” she said during an appearance on Caroline’s podcast, Divorced Not Dead (via People). She noted that her now ex-husband was the one who wanted to wed, adding that she “didn’t ever want to get married again, but it was important to him.”

“We rushed into it… Like I said earlier, I’m a lover and I want everybody to be happy,” she said. “I learned some big lessons from that mistake. I’m sure he did as well.”

Meghan and Cuffe, who is President Joe Biden’s nephew, married last October after a whirlwind romance. She confirmed they had separated in late December.

While Meghan has reportedly started dating again (according to multiple reports she’s been romantically linked to businessman Trevor Colhoun), she noted on Caroline’s podcast her feelings about love and dating today (and didn’t seem to address the speculation about her love life).

“I have a whole lot of love to give, and these bad relationships that I’ve been in haven’t knocked me down,” she said. “And that’s just who I am. I feel like I’m resilient. I want to give my whole heart, but I think I’m a little bit more guarded than I was in the past.”

Meghan hasn’t just been sharing updates on her love life — she’s also been sharing photos of all the fun she and her three kids Aspen, Hart, and Hayes (with ex-husband Jim Edmonds) have been up to this summer.
