Emily Simpson Opens Up About Being “Really Proud” of Her Daughter, Annabelle
"I am here to guide her," the RHOC cast member shares in an emotional tribute to her little girl.
Emily Simpson is sharing just how proud she is of her daughter, Annabelle. The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member recently took to Instagram to commemorate a milestone in her 9-year-old daughter's life and to share moments from Annabelle's baptism reception, which viewers were able to get a glimpse of during the recent March 2 episode.
"If you know Annabelle at all...you know she is fierce, opinionated and she exudes self-confidence. She is full of personality and passion, but her compassion for others is her greatest gift," Emily wrote in the caption of her March 3 post, featuring sweet photos from Annabelle's baptism reception at Emily's husband, Shane Simpson's, parents' house.
Emily went on to share her hopes for all her children, adding, "As [Annabelle's] mother, I am here to guide her but also support her wishes, dreams and desires. All I want for my children is for them to follow their dreams so that they find love, peace, fulfillment and self worth. I hope they each find the fulfillment that they deserve."
In addition to the captures she shared on Instagram, Emily revealed more about Annabelle's decision to "follow in her dad's footsteps" and be baptized, in The Real Housewives of Orange County After Show clip, above, which is exclusive to Bravo Insider members.
"She goes to church with Shane, and she came home and she told me that, ‘I’m 8 now, I would like to get baptized,’" says Emily in the RHOC After Show clip, above, going on to explain how the age for baptism in the Mormon Church is 8-years-old, and how she fully supported her daughter's journey.
She later added, "As her mother, I was just really proud of her and her choice, and what a good kid she is and how kind she is."

It's clear the RHOC mom's kids are front and center in her life, as Emily recently shared a sweet photo with her daughter Annabelle and twin sons Luke and Keller.
