Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave Reacts After Getting Eliminated From Celebrity Big Brother
"I had fun while it lasted!” the RHOBH alum wrote.
Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave’s journey on Season 3 of Celebrity Big Brother has come to an end. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum was the first houseguest to be evicted from the show following a drama-packed episode on February 4.
Teddi took to Instagram to share her mixed emotions after the elimination. While she was disappointed to leave the competition early, the mom of three was also clearly thrilled to return home to her family, as she captured in a sweet video on Instagram.
In the heartwarming clip, Teddi can be seen joyously reuniting with her youngest daughter, Dove, following the end of her stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house. “That’s just my baby Dovey. Thanks to everyone who watched me play the game of Celebrity Big Brother. Being voted out for being considered a threat isn’t so bad,” she captioned the post.
She went on to add, “I can say this for sure, I am so appreciative to be home and will never take for granted how incredible my life is. I missed my family and friends more than I ever could have imagined.”
In a separate post, Teddi also shared a peek at the letters that she would have received from her family if she had won the second Head of Household in the next episode. “Thanks so much to the #BBCeleb #BigBrother fans for watching and embracing me! This would have been my Head of Household letter when I won HOH next week,” she wrote in the caption.
She went on to write, “But being I wasn’t given the chance I’ll just continue to run my own household. Maybe snuggle with the kids in my comfy bed and tell them stories about how to play games with your heart and integrity.”
Teddi concluded the message by giving a shout-out to her husband, Edwin Arroyave, for holding down the fort at home while she was away. “I had fun while it lasted! Who’s your fave to win @bigbrothercbs now?” she wrote. “Ps. Love you @tedwinator - thank you for this. 18 days was a long time to be away from y’all.”
While Teddi may be out of the Celebrity Big Brother house, fellow Season 3 cast member Cynthia Bailey remains in the competition. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum is also getting plenty of support from her friends and family, including husband Mike Hill.
“I love and miss you MORE baby!! So proud of you!” he wrote on his Instagram Stories on February 5.
