Cynthia Bailey Says *This* Person Is the “Love of My Life”
The RHOA alum also revealed whether she would get married again and where things stand now with her ex-husband.
Less than two months after her divorce from Mike Hill was finalized, Cynthia Bailey says she’s already found the “love of my life.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, who announced her split from the sportscaster in October 2022 just a few days after their second wedding anniversary, appeared on the January 25 episode of Teresa Giudice’s Namaste B$tches podcast to reveal the latest updates in her personal life.
In case you need a refresher, The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member got to know Cynthia when the two went to Turks and Caicos together to film the debut season of Peacock’s The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. The pair hit it off on the vacation and have been close pals ever since. Cynthia even attended Teresa’s August wedding to Luis “Louie” Ruelas.
“When I did [RHUGT], she was, oh my god, the love of my life,” Cynthia said on the podcast about her “genuine” and “kind” friend Teresa. “She was the lady [who] I was the most excited to meet, the one [who] I was the most curious about, because she’s been through a lot, and I love strong women.”
While Cynthia has certainly found the platonic love of her life, has she dipped her toes back into the dating world since her divorce?
The model shared that she only began thinking about dating once her divorce was legally finalized, though she continues to maintain a “great relationship” with her ex.
“I didn’t feel like before I got that decree that I was single… I just wanted to honor my marriage all the way until I got that decree,” she explained. “That’s when it was like, ‘OK, it’s done.’”
Now that Cynthia is officially a single lady again, she is “looking forward” to the prospect of meeting someone — though getting married again isn’t something that’s high on her list.
“That, honestly, is just not a huge priority for me, but I’m not gonna not get married if I meet the right guy,” she added. “But I’m ready to get back out there.”
She could soon be “[getting] back out there” by going on double dates with a very familiar face: her longtime close pal Kenya Moore.
“[That’s] double trouble, for sure,” Cynthia joked, after mentioning that her friendship with Kenya was back on track following their clash on RHUGT. “We’re never single at the same time, so, finally, I’m going to start dating soon and she’s getting back out there and starting to date.”
