Hey, did you know that New York Comic Con has officially kicked off? No? Well, now you do. And to pay homage to the annual event, we're remembering the time "Rachel Zoe" headed to New York Comic Con back in 2013. So, why the quotations? Because it was actually comedian Amy Phillips in her best Rachel Zoe cosplay (that's costume play for you novices out there) interviewing the unsuspecting folks at the event and name dropping designers like Karl Lagerfeld and Zac Posen.
There are a lot of don't miss moments in the video, as well as style tips. "Rachel" also gets in on the action dressed as a bear. We, mean, they are everything this season. And while she seemed smitten with the masks (direct quote: "I die for a mask"), the biggest takeaway from the vintage video is: "You guys, capes are everything right now." A true statement back in 2013, and one that remains just as real for this year's NYCC.
