Kenya Moore on Her Journey to Motherhood: "It Took Me a Long Time to Receive the Blessing of Having a Family"
The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom-to-be gets real about her next chapter.
It was just a week ago that Kenya Moore revealed that she and husband, Marc Daly, are expecting their first child together. She confirmed the exciting news during Part 1 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 10 reunion (clip above).
And now, the mom-to-be is opening up a bit more about her journey to motherhood. "Live your best life! I'm living mine. It took me a long time to receive the blessing of having a family. I prayed for this life! God blessed me with this life and this new joy! I will always speak the truth. I will continue to grow, forgive my enemies, and help as many people I can by example by example not words," she wrote on Instagram. "Live your best life! I'm living mine. Thank you God for my blessings."
She capped off the inspiring message with some-equally positive hashtags: #mondaymotivation, #love, #peace, #growth, #family, and #god.
Following her big reveal, Andy Cohen shared his take on her baby news: "[I'm] so happy for her ... I'm wishing her very good health."
In addition to expanding their family, the Dalys are inching closer to a big milestone: their one-year wedding anniversary. Kenya wed Marc Daly in an intimate beach ceremony in St. Lucia on June 10, 2017.
And, below, Kenya discusses a bit more about motherhood.
